Big news is hatching in Pacific Beach: for the first time ever, we’re serving up breakfast at The Crack Shack PB. Starting July 11, our coastal coop is getting a morning makeover — and trust us, you’ll want to wake up for this one.

We know you’ve been patiently waiting to enjoy a brew or cocktail alongside your cluck. And the wait is finally over. Perch up at the coop for some beach views, and beer, wine, or canned cocktails to round out your beach day meal.
Whether you’re a local looking to level up your brunch game or looking for a noteworthy breakfast in Pacific Beach, we’ve got the golden, eggy goods waiting. This isn’t your average grab-n-go. We’re talking about elevated a.m. eats that still bring the bold, craveable flavors we’re known for — with a few cheeky twists, of course.
The Morning Menu You Didn’t Know You Needed
Kicking off this new era is the “Morning After Chick” burrito, stuffed with chicken chorizo, crispy crack fries, avocado-cilantro crema, and melty Oaxacan cheese. Hungover or not, this one slaps.
Prefer something stacked and savory? Meet “McLovin’” — a Jidori egg sandwich with American cheese, bacon, and our signature vibes, served on an English muffin that knows it’s better than everyone else’s.
Breakfast is available Fridays through Sundays until 1 p.m., for dine-in, online orders, and delivery. That means you can roll in post-surf, pre-hike, or while still wearing last night’s flip flops.

In the mood for a mid-day snack instead? We’ve also introduced smoked Jidori wings, available all day for dine-in. Tossed in your choice of sauce — from Sweet Baby G’s to straight-up Fire — they’re perfect for sharing or hoarding entirely to yourself. No judgment.

Why Now?
We’ve been dreaming up a breakfast menu for a while, but we wanted it to be just right. PB is our newest chick on the block, and we couldn’t think of a better place to launch our very first morning service. With its beachy energy, mix of locals and visitors, and laid-back yet foodie-loving vibe, Pacific Beach was the obvious choice.
This new menu drop isn’t just about breakfast — it’s about building on what makes The Crack Shack special. Thoughtful sourcing. Bold, original flavors. And a little bit of sass before noon.
